Signed First US Edition, Presentation copy. Near fine condition in very good plus unclipped dust jacket. Inscribed by Roth to Julius and dated August 1972. Julius is believed to be the painter Julius Goldstein who was married to the writer Joan Aitken, both close friends of Philip Roth. The dust jacket has a nick to the top of the front cover (see photo).
