Item description from seller

Sund's scarce first book and a unique association copy. Full black cloth with gilt titled spine, grey decorative endpapers. Nicely inscribed to poet and "Father of the Beats" Kenneth Rexroth. "For Kenneth Rexroth - years later - in 1952 you said to me "Don't waste the sweetness on the desert air -" Not wasting anything, we thank you - Robert Sund, La Conner, September 1, 1980." A wonderful association copy between two major West coast poets. See photos.
