Warm inscription from the author and signed by the author on title page. The countryside they worked in consisted largely of wide gibber plains, thick red dust which could disconcertingly turn into a sea of mud after a deluge, salt brush, and spinifex. Yet sometimes it proved unexpectedly lovely so much so that the team would occasionally indulge in a private beautification scheme diverting their new road to pass by a group of attractive ghost gums.

Buderim is a village in sub tropical Queensland on the Sunshine Coast about 1 hour north from Brisbane. There is easy parking to the rear of the building and lots of cafes for coffee,breakfast and lunch.
