Add to basketBound in clean and attractive blue cloth with bright, gilt titles to front board and spine, this 1951 hardcover First Edition in English is Good, in poor wrapper (spine of wrapper missing, remains in two parts). 60pp+200pp B/W photgraphic plates. Signed and inscribed by author to Hugh Bennett, in French language, on half title. Some page edges affected by damp as follows. Where pages have been separated, after being stuck together, damage has occurred to blank fore-edge margin in about first 30 pages and prelims. Page edges chipped with small tears, but no loss of text. Some cockeling to other pages and one plate (184) has large closed tear. Fascinating and useful text all accessable, but regard this as good reader only with badly torn wrapper.
