Original 1/4 vellum and cinammon boards, very good tight copy this is the 5th issue of the 1898 First Edition which sold out so quickly, there was a limited ed of signed 50 copies followed by the trade First edition of 800 numbered copies, then a series of 2nd, 3rd 4th and fith issues. so stated. Classic Wilde in agony and bondage of man's inhumanity to man. the first owner in a mimic of Oscar Wilde's signature signed Oscars cell number on the title page where Oscar named himself after his cell C33. a near fine copy. The signature varies from the usual Wilde, but one should assume the first owner, but we are not certain.
