First edition. Small octavo. 164pp. Beige cloth decorated in gilt. Small attractive bookplate of Percival F. Hinton. Corners bumped, tiny tears at spine ends, and some toning on the cloth, a nice and sound very good copy of Lang's first book. This copy Inscribed by Lang (but not signed) to a relative, most likely to his aunt, or possibly his grandmother: "Mrs. P.P. Sellar, best and kindest wishes. 1st Jan. 1871 [presumably he intended to write 1872]. 17 Walker Street." Lang's mother was Jane Sellar Lang, the daughter of Patrick Sellar, factor to the first Duke of Sutherland. Seller Inventory # 540778
