Bound in turquoise cloth with gilt lettering on upper board and on spine. Very faint staining of the front free endpaper and of the rear free endpaper (moisture perhaps, but in any event barely noticeable and does not extend to any other pages); solidly bound. Dust jacket, which is not price-clipped (retaining published price of $2.00, has edge wear (minor rubs, chips, and a couple of 3/4" long closed tears). Probably published simultaneously with the US edition. 169 pages. Signed by author on the front free endpaper "Heartily Yours: Robert Service".
