Signed and numbered limited edition hardback (32/750), 1963, in the original clear glassine dust wrapper. In overall very good used condition in a poor wrapper with minor signs of age, handling and storage - wrapper complete but rubbed, brittle and chipped (now protected); blue cloth bevel-edged boards a touch rubbed to edges but remain overall clean and crisp. Binding tight and appears little read. Internally clean, no annotation or inscriptions - ownership signature neat to front endpaper dated 1963 and signed by the author to limitation page; slight toning to untrimmed page-ends but text and illustrated frontispiece (Kathleen Hale) bright and clear throughout. Not an old library book.
