KINGSOLVER'S FIRST BOOK, SIGNED Long before Barbara Kingsolver won her Pulitzer, the young novelist's debuted with The Bean Trees, a searing coming-of-age story. Kingsolver entered the world of novels through Taylor Greer, a young woman from small-town Kentucky who wanted to move west and avoid pregnancy. But when Greer stumbles upon an abandoned baby, motherhood catches up with her and family comes to mean something she never could have expected. Briefly inscribed by Kingsolver on the title page. Fine in fine, very faintly toned dust jacket, in mylar cover.
