Autograph military appointment signed by both former Italian Prime Minister Benito Mussolini and Victor Emmanuel III, King of Italy from 1926. In near fine condition. Victor Emmanuel III served as the King of Italy from 1900 until his abdication in May of 1946. During his reign of nearly 46 years, which began after the assassination of his father Umberto I, the Kingdom of Italy became involved in two world wars. His reign also encompassed the birth, rise, and fall of Italian Fascism; it was Victor Emmanuel III who appointed the founder of Italian Fascism, Benito Mussolini, as Prime Minister of Italy in 1922.
