Cookbook featuring over 150 recipes developed for and taught in classes at The Seasoned Chef Cooking School in Denver, Colorado, by cooking school instructors and chefs from popular denver restaurants. Recipes teach culinary skills and offer home chefs the opportunity to successfully prepare gourmet recipes created by prominent chefs.

"Chef Talk" and "Kitchen Savvy" sections explain culinary terminology and provide tips from chefs to simplify cooking. "Chef Profiles" describes the chef/instructor's culinary background and restaurant affiliation. There are wine pairings for selected recipes.

About the Author

Susan Stevens is the author of two best-selling cookbooks, "Delitefully HealthMark" and "Cooking for a Healthier Everafter" (sales exceeded 80,000 copies for each book). She has taught cooking classes for over 5 years, specializing in gourmet-quality cuisine for heart-healthy diets. A Registered Dietitian, she has also worked in the field of preventive medicine and weight management. Currently, she is the owner and director of The Seasoned Chef Cooking School in Denver, Colorado.

The Book Nook is a complete bookstore with over 8000 sq. ft. showroom floor offering used books from a stock of more than 70,000 volumes. Cheryl Haysmer started and operated the store in 1981 in downtown Cadillac, the heart of Michigan. We have a strong specialty in used paperbacks with minors in used hardcovers. The store is open from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Saturday year round.
