An incredibly scarce presentation copy volume of mid- to post-WWI poetry, in original binding. An incredibly scarce volume of poetry by an author who signs simply as 'E. R.'A varied selection of poetry, including occasional poems in French, and poems reflecting on the recent war, in original binding.Signed and inscribed by the author to the front blank. Bound in original green pictorial boards. Externally, a little worn. Rubbing to extremities. Large loss to paper to spine. Corresponding piece of binding detached but present. Split to front joint. Remainder of spine binding may detach with further handling. Sunning to boards and spine. Contemporary ink inscription to front paste down - 'No 17'. Slight age toning to endpapers. Author's ink inscription to front blank. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean, with the odd handling mark. Pages unevenly cut. Good.
