Hardcover. Aqua blue cloth over boards, with white lettering. Binding and textblock tight and clean and in good condition. Title page dated 1972. Copyright page dated 1972 as well. 323 pages. Inscribed to Chris and Ellen Sterling on the title page, signed by both George and May Shiews, dated Dec 1980. Shiers' business card tipped to blank page opposite title page. Pencil notes on free endpaper by Sterling noting improvements possible. Early book review taped to front endpaper. Letter from publisher to Shiers tucked inside, telling him that his books are no longer selling well and offering him the chance to purchase the whole back catalogue. Review slip attached to inside front cover. Chris Sterling's name and date 16Oct72 on the front endpaper. From the collection of Christopher Sterling, a professor, writer, and collector; he wrote extensively on communications; we are excited to have several shelves of scarce books from his collection listed beside this one. Regular shipping by USPS Media Mail is $4. MEDIA MAIL SHIPPING DOES NOT INCLUDE TRACKING.
If you'd like tracking, please let us know before you place the order - We're happy to do it but it costs $1 extra because it means we have to print a shipping label for it individually, slowing down the shipping process considerably -- and we want to be able to keep basic shipping costs as low as we can.
