FIRST PRINTING of First USA Edition. Orginal green boards, gilt lettering spine. SIGNED BY MESSNER on pre-title page. On blank verso of free front endpaper are three gift inscriptions to an unnamed previous owner. The book is in nice condition with minor bump upper rear edge and tips lower cover corners (see photo), tight binding, clean, no marks or writing on pages other than the gift inscriptions already mentioned, no foxing. The dust jacket is in nice condition with no chips, no tears, front flap corner is price-clipped.
