Large octavo hardcover with black cloth boards; 373 pp. Signed and inscribed by author to front pastedown. Gilt title to spine; copper military aircraft emblem to front board; top edge green stained; b/w plates. Tight binding, clean throughout. Newspaper clipping from 3-5-58 ("Air Force Secretary Upholds Billy Mitchell Conviction") affixed to rear pastedown. Very minor edge wear. Near Fine. DJ: Light edge wear with small closed tears to top of spine. Very Good. "Based upon previously classified reports and documents?including all the controversial court-martial testimony?this biography at last reveals the man behind the myth.".
