About the Author

He was born Richard Brisson in Bayonne, New Jersey, the son of Mohawk Indians. Now he is the Corporate Consultant Chef for the Delta Steamboat Corporation and the star of his own 26-week television show.

Chef Rene was required to spend a minimum of five years as an apprentice to five master Black Hat Chefs.

After sixteen years, he earned his Black Hat. A gifted teacher, Chef Rene has taught cooking to many hundreds of students.
