THE BLACK TORTILLAS DON'T TALK ANYMORE is a collection of missionary stories from the personal experience of missionary and master storyteller Ruby Scott. These short stories highlight the trials and triumphs of people hearing the Word of God for the first time, whether through the spoken or written word or through phonograph records (Black Tortillas). Each story is accompanied by devotional thoughts, making the book especially suitable for Sunday school classes, youth and adult meetings, and devotional messages.
About the Author: The late Ruby Scott was originally from Florida. After training to be a nurse, she studied Christian education at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. She spent twenty-seven years as a missionary to tribal peoples of southern Mexico and another ten years teaching released-time Bible classes on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona. Ruby was an accomplished storyteller and writer and author of the book JUNGLE HARVEST.
