First edition. Hardcover. First printing. 500 pages. A thick tome of blues lyrics compiled by Eric Sackheim. Includes 68 illustrations by Jonathan Shahn. A tight very near fine copy in a very near fine dust jacket. Signed and inscribed by Jonathan Shahn to Ben Sackheim, the father of Eric, who was a advertising executive, book collector and seller: 'For Ben Sackheim "the greatest bluesman of them all' Jonathan Shahn.' One of only 100 copies signed by Eric Sachheim and with two laid in proof illustrations that have been signed by Shahn. A terrific association copy.

Libraries, institutions, and accredited dealers in the United States can be sent books with invoice.
All books noted as First Editions are also First Printings unless indicated otherwise. Books are returnable for any reason within 30 days of the estimated delivery date provided they are returned in the same condition they were sent. Illinois residents please add 7.00% sales tax.

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 3 LB, or 1.4 KG. However, larger or heavier books or multi-volume sets will require additional postage. We will contact you if additional postage is required.
We ship all books in sturdy boxes or in stiff cardboard mailers.
