Quarter vellum with gilt rules & spine titles over green cloth; 4to; 174pp; top edge gilt; illustrated with color frontispiece plus 3 other color collotype plates, 8 hand-colored plates plus numerous b/w drawings by George Sheringham. limited to 195 numbered (65-A) copies signed by George Sheringam. Each of the "A" copies were reserved for sale in the United States. Contains an essay by Guy Pollock, "A Memory of Hugh Sheringham" who passed during the publication of the book. A series of articles by noted authors of the time including, Radcliffe, Skues, Ransome, Dahl, Turing, Plunkett Greene, Parker and others. This copy in VG condition with light cover wear, some scattered light foxing spots to text block edges only, internally quite clean. An enjoyable book to read. Seller Inventory # 003951
