First Edition (so stated), SIGNED by Editor Frederick Pottle, in clean unclipped dust jacket. Clean blue paper-covered boards with black cloth spine, gold lettering on spine. Tiny spot of wear to one lower corner tip Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound - no cracking. Pages and edges are clean with clean map-illustrated endpapers. No names, writing or marks. "Now first published from the original manuscript prepared for the press, with introduction and notes by Frederick A. Pottle, Sterling Professor of English, Yale University, with a Preface by Christopher Morley." Signed on half-title page as follows: "For Mary Lou Smith - Faithfully Yours, Frederick A. Pottle." All pages are clean. Two illustrations plus illustrated endpapers. 370 pages with index. Clean dust jacket is not price clipped (5.00 on front inside flap), has slight edge wear, a few very short closed edge tears; enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover.
