The first children's tale by the multi- winner of the Governor Generals's award, perhaps best known for his Black Donnelly trilogy. Signed & dated (1970) on title page by Reaney. 102 pages with B&W illustratioms. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Decorative cream & black boards. The clean orange & red illustrated DJ has minor rubbing wear to edges & corners. Scarce signed copy.
