Lloyd "off the south coast of Ceylon in the dawn" dated September 9th 1949. DESCRIPTION: DJ over publisher's original blue cloth with thirty one illustrations and fourteen maps. Language: English. Book Condition: Very Good: Light wear to bruised corners, edges and spine ends. Faint dark mark to spine. Tightly bound with intact endpapers and strong hinges. Toned free endpapers from DJ fold overs. Mark to rear free endpaper and gutter. Author inscription and signature to ffep dated 1949. Clean unmarked pages. Very lightly toned text block edges. DJ Condition: Fair: Wear to corners and edges. 2cm loss to head and tail of spine. Tear to across mid section of spine. Soiled rear cover and some edges. Neat repairs to verso tears primarily along one spine edge. In protective cover. Pages 230. Size: 22.5cm by 15cm.
