Vol. III of The Egypt Trilogy. Vol. I - The Moon In The Cloud - won the Carnegie Medal in 1968 Signed Presentation First Print. Presented to Penny Sibson, and subsequently catalogued as part of Penny’s collection of over 300 childrens/illustrated books. Penny Sibson was a prominent figure in children’s publishing for decades and worked with the authors and artist responsible for some of the most memorable books of the time, and certainly now. We have other books from this collection available, which showcase the artists and authors work, as well as the close relationship Penny fostered with them over the year through numerous letters, books and photos. A Near Fine book, boldly signed and dedicated to Penny by the author. Some glue residue to yellow boards. Penny’s catalogue number to upper right of FFEP, as usual. In the Fine unclipped wrapper with the price of £1.60 to front flap. Some spotting to verso. Catalogued by a human. Now in removable Mylar. Cat. No. 00688.

time you can return the book for a full refund. The 7 working days starts from the moment
you, the buyer, received the book from us, the seller. Delivery information from the tracking
will be used to determine the time you received the book.
Shipping terms
Orders usually ship within 1 business day. Shipping costs are based on books weighing under 1Kg, including packaging. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
We use professional book boxes and carefully wrap all of our books in acid free tissue paper before wrapping them in a protective layer of bubble wrap.
All of our books are sent 2nd Class recorded using Royal Mail, this normally takes 2-6 working days. If you require next day delivery, we will normally be able to do this for you, free of charge. Please contact us if you require this extra service.
Overseas customers, we use the International Signed and Tracked service from Royal Mail, depending on your location, this can vary between 3 and 10 working days. The service is normally trackable, though this may not be available in all countries. Please see below on why we recommend that insurance is included in the postage cost.
If you feel your item has been damaged in transit, you will need to follow the relevant process through Royal Mail in order to receive compensation. We are happy to assist you in this process with any relevant information. As per our terms of sale, we cannot be held responsible for items deemed to be damaged in transit.
