Hinges sound; except as noted, pages are clean and bright. No dust jacket. Presumed First Edition. Inscribed by author on title page: "Best of Everything for Sam & Malinda Hurst. A. Quincy Jones." On the first free page is the address label of "Sam T. Hurst, FAIA". Samuel Thomas Hurst (1920-2015) was Dean of Architecture and Fine Arts at the University of Southern California (1961-1973). He designed the new School of Architecture Building on campus; and he saved the Gamble House, now an historic Pasadena landmark, from demolition. He later moved to Montecito, where his address label places him, and where he ended his days. Seller Inventory # 000436
