The work is very scarce, the publisher at Sibling Rivalry provided an estimate of about 1500 copies for the print run on the high end. Inscribed "For Meg, onward with every breath, with every word." with a drawing by Vuong of Meg on a sailboat dated 3/29/14 Washington D.C. VG+ chapbook, light damp stain to foot of the pages becoming more pronounced towards rear of book, one page formerly dogeared.Ocean Vuong is a Vietnamese American poet, essayist, novelist and political refugee. Vuong is a recipient of the 2014 Ruth Lilly/Sargent Rosenberg fellowship from the Poetry Foundation, a 2016 Whiting Award, the 2017 T.S. Eliot Prize for his poetry, and a MacArthur "Genius" Grant. His debut novel, On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous, was a finalist for the 2020 PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction and was longlisted for the 2019 National Book Award for Fiction.
