INSCRIBED ffep by author. 128pp. pictorial red cloth tall 8vo: Very Good in an about Good dj in Brodart poly cover [thin faded strip along bottom edges; else VG; dj = torn @ spine ends & corners; few other edge tears, but not tattered; else about G] For decades John Woodward wrote the "About Dogs" feature in the Atlanta Georgian-American, the Atlanta Journal & Atlanta Constitution. This tale of a wire fox terrier pup is charmingly illustrated by Journal cartoonist Lou Erickson. It is inscribed to the Atlanta Constitution columnist Celestine Sibley (1914-99), Woodward's colleague on the Atlanta newspapers. A nice old Atlanta piece. Seller Inventory # 3111
