First CCB edition, first printing; Trade paperback. Originally published by Poison Pen Press in 2001. SIGNED by the Benjamin Franklin Award winning author to the title page. Fulmer's first novel, a Shamus Awarding mystery debuting Creole detective Valentin St. Cyr in the well-depicted Storyville section of New Orleans set in the year 1907, is infused with historical characters including Jelly Roll Morton, Buddy Bolden, the nortorious madam Lulu White, and political boss, Tom Anderson. Fine, firm, square, tight and possibly unread in illustrated stiff-card wraps with white titles to the front cover and to the spine; original printed $18.00 price still intact to the rear cover.
