About the Author
Ric Conrad has trekked in the Andes of South America and climbed extensively throughout the Pacific Northwest and Tetons of Wyoming. A member of the Mazamas and American Alpine Club, he is currently editing the William D. Hackett Papers. He has recently completed, Mount Hood: Adventures of the Wy'east Climbers and is currently working on his next project, In the Shadow of Chogo Ri, the story of the first attempt on K2.
