Orage: A Memoir by Philip Mairet (University Books, 1966) identifies a major benefactor of The New Age as the theosophist A.R. Wallace who wrote for The New Age, as well as his own books, under the pseudonym "M.B. Oxon". (p. xix note). The first edition states he remained anonymous at his request.(p.37). Cloth bound in good condition; Spine very worn and backstrap partially loose.
