Large paper limited edition 125/250. Signed by the publisher Bradbury Agnew. 82 illustrations. The Crayfish was an original and important book on far more than one creature as it sought to demonstrate fundamental principals of Biology in general. Huxley was an early and formidable supporter of Darwin's work. A little foxing to early and late pages. Light wear, sound and attractive. Very good.
