CROSS RIVER MONOLITHS (sensational and scarce first softback printing in good condition) inscribed and dedicated by the author

Published by Department of Antiquities Federal Republic of Nigeria in 1968, here is the super scarce first softback printing of Philip Allison's CROSS RIVER MONOLITHS containing a signed blue-ink dedication from the author to a previous owner on the front free end paper. 44 pages of text plus 53 full-page pictorial plates of the monoliths, the book is in good condition with some rubbing to the spine at the base, plus some creasing/ spotting and foxing to the card covers. Internally the book is in super order and these days is extremely rare.
