Modern Library. New York. 1929. 230 pages. SIGNED by Thornton Wilder directly to the title page. Early modern library edition. Book is tight. Binding and hinges are strong. Plum colored cloth. DJ is attractive despite a couple of open chips and water damage to rear. Faint moisture stain on edge of pages and really only visible on panels. No smells. Pages lay tight and undisturbed. .95 cent price on flap and 185 titles noted on rear. A desirable signed Modern Library edition of the author's first novel (who would later go on to win 3 Pulitzers.).
