Book in near fine condition with the slipcases showing minor rubbing at the corners. This edition was limited to 100 signed numbered copies, this is copy 20. Fold-out panorama of Coloma present at the rear free endsheet. The most comprehensive book ever published on the California gold discovery, containing a detailed mass of accounts and sources relating to that momentous event.
