CAPE COD MARITIME DISASTERS COLLECTION OF PHOTOGRAPHS BY W.P. QUINN 1990 SIGNED. Staying with the books about shipwrecks around New England and in particular, those written by William P. Quinn, I am happy to offer: Cape Cod Maritime Disasters A Collection of Photographs of Maritime Accidents Around Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha s Vineyard. This large hard cover book (9 ¼ x 12 ¼ inches, 228 pages) was published by Lower Cape Publishing of Orleans, Massachusetts, dated 1990, with no mention of edition. It is flat signed by the Author on the title page. The book is bound in dark blue cloth boards with bold silver gilt titles on cover and spine; it is protected by a high-gloss, pictorial dust jacket. I would estimate that there are 230 or more photos in the book, most of them vintage and all of them in b&w. Condition: This book is in near fine condition. The dust jacket is clean, high gloss and undamaged in any way. The hard covers are immaculate, clean, bright and unbumped. Inside, the only mark I found is the Author s signature on the title page; the rest of the book is bright, clean and very presentable. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.…
