First edition SIGNED. Cid Corman, editor of Origin roughly 1950-2003, almost always read a book with pen in hand. Cid also almost always signed all of his personal books from his library and dated when receiving or purchasing the book. Cid also often would note, if a gift, and who had sent the gift -- many times another poet. His personal books range from heavy annotation from Cid where he often in unique marginalia would correct the author, agree with the author, argue with the author and leave it to Cid the often ultimate proofreader to correct the publisher. Close to fine and bright glossy wraps with strong spine and with crisp bright text throughout. In this case, annotated here and there by Cid Corman. From Cid's personal library with his full signature and date of purchase 1993. With a lovely frontispiece photograph by John Levy to the book. Near fine glossy stiff wraps with excellent square spine and crisp bright text throughout. Cid was close friends with Rakosi and throughout the book with pen in hand he works the book over talking to himself, to Rakosi and to the reader. A wonderful look into Corman and Rakosi and poets at work.

U.S. ORDERS: For most books, we are able to ship within 24-48 hours. First book is $6 for book rate U.S. mail; additional titles are $3.00 per book. Priority mail is $15 for the first book title and $5.00 for each additional title. Some titles may vary in shipping and handling costs due to size, weight and value. We will advise. Insurance coverage is available upon request by the buyer. This usual cost is $5; and we will invoice you. Please let us know prior to shipment if you require insurance for media rate. Thank you. RETURNS are accepted within five days of receipt if the purchased book is not in "as described condition" per our online ABE description. Please notify us in advance before making your return, and as long as the condition has not been altered. We are unable to accept a return unless you write us PRIOR to your formal ABE refund claim. We can then make every effort for a solution, exchange or re-send of another copy in stock. Thank you.
