8vo., 235(2)pp. Beautiful First Edition with no other printings listed as called for by William, Morrow. Bound in red cloth with lettering in black on front board and spine. Square, tight and clean throughout with some softness to spine ends and a small bump to the bottom front tip. Equally attractive unclipped dust-jacket, ($3.95), has what looks to be a couple of small color touch-ups on the spine. A feint dog-ear on the rear flap. Still quite fresh and bright with no chipping, toning or tears. Signed and inscribed by the author on the front end-paper, "To Helen Moore. My Hollywood Della Street with love. Yours, Uncle Earle. Earle Stanley Gardner". A gorgeous collectable copy of a surprisingly uncommon title.
