Inscribed (with an interesting association) First Edition, First Printing of this Las Vegas gaming classic. Bill Friedman is a casino design and management guru who pioneered a variety design elements to stimulate play that became standard elements in casino culture. This is his first book which focused on casino management and is a seminal work in the field. This copy is inscribed by Bill Friedman to Mel Exber, another gaming legend. Exber was a pioneer in casino-based sportsbook gaming at his famed Las Vegas Club. The inscribed is dated by Friedman in the year of publication. 348 pages. The book has tanning at the edges and faint tobacco aroma. Also has a previous owner embossed stamp (a different owner than Exber) on the signature page. The dust jacket has tanning and foxing.
