The Catcher of Dreams provides a holistic approach to creating harmony of the spirit, soul, mind, and body. It is a creative tapestry of science, nature, Native American lore, and spirituality woven together with stories, analogies, and insights derived from years of the author's experience with Native American cultures and his doctoral degree in health and wellness.
The book explores such items as stress management, money management, diet & nutrition, fitness and exercise, relationships, prayer, healing, risk factors, our image/aura, our environment, and Biblical principals on physical/spiritual unification.
Through The Medicine Way, a Native American approach to wellness, the reader is guided through a Vision Quest, or personal health assessment. The reader is then provided information on how to make appropriate adaptations in his/her well-being (through the topics noted above) in order to create personal wellness. And finally the reader develops a very individualized prescription toward wellness.
