SIGNED 1969 FIRST PRINTING of First Edition. Original off-white cloth, gilt lettering spine. SIGNED by author, Fred Beckey, on the title page. The book is in very nice condition with no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, no foxing, sharp cover corners, solid binding. Original dust jacket has 1cm clean tear lower front, 1cm tear top front at flap crease, minor soiling, better than usual condition for this jacket that is easily damaged and often soiled due to the white color. The book measures 228mm tall x 157mm, and has 280 pages, 47 b/w photos, 13 maps, chronology of climbs. THE PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.
