In publisher's dust jacket, $8.95 retail price on front flap, faint shelf wear and toning, a near fine example. Inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper, "3/1/81 To Ray, My wonderful + supportive editors. With thanks - Mark." Mark Medoff (1940-2019) had a long career of writing, acting, and teaching theater and film. His breakthrough play was Children of a Lesser God, which won several awards, including the Tony Award for Best Play in 1980 and the Olivier Award for Play of the Year in 1981. Children of a Lesser God was revived on Broadway in 2018, receiving another round of notable nominations, including the Tony for Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Play. Seller Inventory # 12485
