London: Faber and Faber, 1955. First Edition. Bookplate signed by Spender loosely laid in at front. Octavo. 211 pages. Printed dust jacket with 15s price present. Red boards stamped in gilt. Dust jacket is chipped with a rather large 4" x 1/2" section along top edge of rear panel missing, and a significant chip to top of front panel near spine. General rubbing and dampstaining to spine verso. Boards lightly rubbed along edges with faint discoloration along bottom of spine. Binding is sound and pages clean and unmarked.
