Inscribed by the author to S. K. Roberts to the front free end paper, dated 1940. A lovely collection of poems by Thomas Thornely (1855-1949), a fellow of Trinity Hall, Cambridge, and a university lecturer in history. This anthology includes the poems: 'Fen and Fell', 'Merton Hall, Cambridge', 'After the War', and 'The Loveless Sea'. In a quarter cloth binding.
