Sold here together are six letters (some handwritten, some typed) by the wilderness poet Antler plus one two-page signed typed original poem entitled Bubble-Boggled. All mailed to poet and small press poetry publisher Michael Perkins. Letters all date from the period 1987 to 1988. Letters discuss various matters including hiking in the Appalachian Mountains, poetry readings etc. Antler is perhaps best known for his collection entitled Factory which was published by Lawrence Ferlinghetti at City Lights Books. He was the recipient of the Whitman Prize and the Witter Bynner prize in 1987. Highly touted by Allen Ginsberg and others. All letters etc in very good or better condition. Seller Inventory # 28753
