signed by the author on the first flyleaf page. First American hardcover edition, with dust jacket, published by Howell, Soskin, 1946. Memoir of the author's experiences as Squadron Leader of Coastal Command, detailing the pursuit of U-Boats in the English Channel. 262 pages, with a section of photos at the end of the book, 5-1/2" X 8-1/4". The dust jacket is intact and is not price clipped, original price of $3 is printed on the bottom corner of the front flap. Jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Jacket has chips and creases at the top edge and at the head of the spine panel. Blue cloth covered boards, with just some mild rubbing wear the head and heel of the spine panel. signed by Bolitho on the first blank flyleaf page. No further writing besides the signature. Edges of the text block are clean. Binding is tight and square. Not a library discard copy. Attached are some photos of the copy we have in our inventory.

Recently, the USPS has added tracking to Media Mail , which has been a great addition to this service.
If you do choose to have your order shipped "Expedited", my shipping cost may seem higher than expected. Some of our books are large format hardcovers that can cost quite a bit when shipped expedited. So I would like to make sure that I can cover the cost upfront.
