Signed by the author to the title page without dedication; very clean and bright original blue cloth binding with gold gilt letters to the spine and with four sharp corners; no previous owner's marks; very clean and tight end papers and text block with no spotting or sunning, other than to page edges only. Dust jacket condition: Near Fine: very clean and bright wraparound jacket illustration by Geoff Hunt; no losses, tears, nicks or scuffs; a little creasing to top edge of spine tip (see images), otherwise fine.
