This rare Anniversary Edition incorporates a new introduction, and revisions, by celebrated author, outdoorsman and war correspondent, Eugene Burns, who was famously murdered at the age of 52, in 1958, during a street mob revolt in Baghdad, Iraq, while on assignment; less than five years after signing this copy on the FFEP: The Best of Angling, Gene Burns, June 4, 1953. Uncommon in DJ. Book is tight and clean. Binding and hinges are sound. Pages and endpapers are clean and bright. $3.50 price intact on DJ flap. DJ shows minor rubbing at heel with a couple of tiny, closed edge tears (barely.) Scant, faint foxing along page edges (barely) otherwise fine in a VG+ DJ.
