Complete set of eight. Complete set of all eight flip-and-match books first published by Crowell in 1986. The book My Very First Book of Tools is SIGNED by Carle on the inside cover without inscription. These are all presumed first printings with the original plastic comb binding and $2.95 price. Half-pages, top and bottom, flip; the reader must find a top and bottom "shape" that match. Quite scarce. These copies are clean and crisp, with no previous owner name or marks, very crisp. Very light wear to some corners of some books. Beautiful set. Some later reissued as board books. See photos.
