An attractive 12-volume First Edition, First Printing set of George MacDonald Fraser's Flashman novels, published between 1969 and 2005. Volume 11, Flashman and the Tiger (1999) has been SIGNED WITHOUT DEDICATION TO THE TITLE PAGE by the author. All twelve volumes are at least Very Good, in similarly Very Good or better dustwrappers - a nice bright set. The copy of Royal Flash, the second and scarcest of the novels in first edition, is particularly handsome, being very nearly Fine in a like wrapper. There is a previous owner's name neatly to the ffep of Flash for Freedom! and an owner's small name stamp (twice) to the ffep of Royal Flash, else all are free from names, inscriptions and bookplates. Across the set, the wrappers have minimal edgewear and are bright and vibrant, Barbosa's designs showing beautifully; Flashman and Flashman and the Tiger are a little faded to the spine, while Flashman's Lady and Flashman in the Great Game show just a touch of sunning to the spine, otherwise all are unfaded; ten are unclipped, while Flashman and Flashman in the Great Game are clipped.
