Comus

Rare original 1921 signed & limited first French edition of the Arthur Rackham illustrated Comus. The book is overall in very good condition with some minor signs of wear and age. This copy is number 110 out of only 300 printed. The book is illustrated with 24 beautiful tipped in color plates as called for. The covers have mild soiling and wear with a nick to the side edge of the rear board. There are a couple of minor interior cracks to the text block, but the hinges remain uncracked and the binding of the book is good sound. The interior is lightly toned from age but is mostly nice and clean with just some occasional light foxing. Along with that there may be the occasional page with some kind of other very minor imperfection. Generally though, it's a nice copy. The book measures approximately 11 1/2 inches by 9 1/4 inches.
