About the Author

William Toye, C.M., was the general editor of the first edition of The Oxford Companion to Canadian Literature, and co-editor of the second edition. He was a founding member of the literary quarterly, The Tamarack Review and was Editorial Director of Oxford University Press Canada from 1969 until his retirement in 1991. In 1995 he was awarded the Order of Canada, and in 1996 he received an honorary M.A. from Oxford University. He lives in Toronto, Ontario

As of late November, Canada Post services are not available due to an ongoing labour strike. Delivery rates and times are therefore temperarily amended to reflect deliveries by courier services.

Insurance is recommended for orders over $100. Please send an e-mail to hold. Books will be held pending payment and clearance of check or international money order in Canadian or U.S. funds. Books may be returned with prior notice within 14 days.

Orders originating from the USA may be subject to tariffs which will either be prepaid and charged by the seller with your order, or due upon delivery of the shipment by the buyer, per the shipper's tariff payment terms.
